A recurring meal program designed for businesses and their employees. Through Relish, companies can offer a subsidized meal allowance for employees who come into the office on specific days. For example, if you go into the office on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, your employer can set a meal budget for each of those days. You can then order meals through Relish’s digital marketplace, making in-office dining easy and convenient.

I’ve been the Senior Product Design Manager for the Relish team since 2022. I began in a hybrid individual contributor/manager role before transitioning fully into management. During this time, I expanded the Relish product team from 5 to 10, fostering collaboration among product managers, engineers, and designers to drive impactful results.

Primary responsibilities

Corporate Solutions + Supply

I am the Senior Product Design Manager across two departments, our Corporate Solutions (Relish + Corporate Accounts) and our Supply SaaS departments. The Corporate Solutions role is centered around leading and inspiring both the Relish and Corporate Accounts design teams, to create exceptional user-centered experiences for the platform’s diverse range of customers—from corporate clients to restaurant partners.

Product strategy and execution

I collaborate closely with my cross-functional product leadership team to shape the Relish's vision, drive strategic initiatives and outcomes, and ensure design and research quality at every stage. I've led several projects including everything from improving Relish's digital ordering experience to building a 0-1 Relish Admin portal for our business administrators.

Design mentor

With a strong focus on mentorship, I've focused time towards building an environment that fosters team growth, helping designers build impactful skills and delivering innovative, effective solutions that enhance the overall customer journey. I built a coaching program that allowed the transferability of hard and soft skills between designers, content designers and researchers.

What’s next for Relish

Office Integration

We're currently developing a office integration within Relish to boost order participation. This integration will feature a recommended ordering experience, marking our first test of both Slack integration and personalized order suggestions. If successful, we plan to extend these features to ezCater's broader Marketplace, enhancing convenience and engagement across our platform.

Self-serving admin functionality

Adding self-service functionality for company admins will empower customers to manage their accounts with greater autonomy and ease. This feature enables admins to set up and manage user permissions, control budget allocations, and monitor ordering and spending patterns across their teams. We are hoping this will reduce reliance on customer support and improve operational efficiency for businesses. This addition enhances the platform's flexibility and aligns with our goal to provide more tailored, convenient solutions for corporate catering needs.

Improving UI to exceed industry standards

Improving the UI of our Relish is key to delivering an experience that not only meets but exceeds industry standards. Our goal is to create a visually intuitive, user-friendly interface that simplifies every interaction, from placing orders to tracking deliveries. We will ensure that customers can effortlessly create, edit and manage their orders, so that they can focus less on finding restuarants and more on enjoying their food.
