Hello! I’m Shawn Jones. I’m a product design leader and mentor. I have over 14 years of experience leading diverse teams through complex problems.
I approach teams with empathy and a people-first focus. I approach product development and strategy with data-driven, impactful decision-making for both the business and the customer. I’ve had the fantastic opportunity to collaborate with a diverse set of brands, including ezCater, Copper Banking, Charles Schwab, IBM, and the United States. My background is eclectic; I’ve led and built products within these industries: financial services, food and beverage services, corporate catering, learning and education, and e-commerce.
I am an avid traveler and adventurer. I live in Colorado, and it’s by far the most beautiful state to go on weekend getaways with the family. I enjoy hiking, skiing, and wine and bourbon tasting.

My core values
01
Growth mindset
Having a growth mindset means embracing challenges as opportunities to learn and viewing setbacks as valuable lessons rather than failures. It’s about staying curious, seeking continuous improvement, and believing that effort and perseverance lead to growth and success.
02
Be the voice of the customer
Being the voice of the customer means advocating for their needs, perspectives, and experiences at every stage of the product or service lifecycle. It involves deeply understanding their challenges and goals through research and feedback and ensuring that these insights guide decisions to create meaningful and user-centered solutions.
03
Move fast and learn things
Moving fast means defining, testing, and iterating to push ideas forward without over-investing in perfection. Mistakes are inevitable in this process, but they’re valuable learning opportunities that help refine solutions and lead to better outcomes with each iteration.
04
Trust through autonomy
Trust through autonomy means empowering individuals to take ownership of their work, demonstrating confidence in their abilities while providing the space to make decisions. This trust fosters accountability, creativity, and motivation, leading to stronger outcomes and more engaged teams.
